Our Treatment Philosophy
An individualized treatment plan is fundamental to my philosophy of care. I believe that we are shaped by our experiences, relationships, and loss over the course of time. As such, all persons should have needs tailored to the moment and treatment may include psychotherapy, medications, or a combination of both. I understand that not all situations require medication and enjoy providing psychotherapy for those interested. I also enjoy working with therapists of all kinds in the community to collaborate and work towards the best possible outcome.

Medication Management
I provide medication management and am comfortable treating a range of issues including: depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety, attention deficit disorders, grief, interpersonal struggles, as well as difficulty adjusting to the many life changes we all may experience.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a way to help people with a broad variety of mental illnesses and emotional difficulties. Psychotherapy can help eliminate or control troubling symptoms so a person can function better and can increase well-being and healing.
Problems helped by psychotherapy include difficulties in coping with daily life; the impact of trauma, medical illness or loss, like the death of a loved one; and specific mental disorders, like depression or anxiety. There are several different types of psychotherapy and some types may work better with certain problems or issues. Psychotherapy may be used in combination with medication or other therapies.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) Therapy is an advanced technique that uses pulsed magnetic technology, similar to MRI-strength magnet, to stimulate areas of the brain that have low metabolic activity. The process helps invigorate the brain’s natural ability to build new or improve the function of networks that control mood and behavior, which provides relief from depression.
FDA-cleared, non-invasive, non-medication treatment for depression covered by most insurance plans.
